The Welding Institute is designed to accelerate individuals to a career; however, credits can be applied toward an Ivy Tech Associates of Applied Science degree in Industrial Technology.

Students will have limited homework, due to the intensity of the program. Assignments can be done in class. Much of the training provided will be in the new state-of-the-art welding lab at the Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg.
