Now Hiring Scott County Brand Manager

Scott County Logo V4The LiveINScottCounty Initiative is looking for a passionate, talented candidate to fill the key position of Scott County Brand Manager. The ideal candidate will have a command of best practices and trends in all aspects of marketing, enjoy being creative and understand how to engage a digital audience. The Scott County Brand Manager will need to be a great relationship manager with the ability to sell, negotiate and align our goals with those of potential partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Make sure that all marketing communications promote the right message and maintain a good brand image for Scott County, Indiana.
  2. Provide service leadership related to marketing and communications of the LiveINScottCounty Initiative.
  3. Ensure that high quality services are delivered effectively, efficiently and consistently whether it is direct or indirect communications.
  4. Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about our community news and other initiatives.
  5. Create regular positive content to grow the LiveINScottCounty footprint (press releases, social media and website).
  6. Blog on an ongoing basis in support of the organization’s mission and attract site visitors through search, social and email subscribers.
  7. Build and manage social media profiles including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and potentially other channels.
  8. Create sharable content appropriate for specific networks to spread Scott County’s brand and content.
  9. Drive consistent, relevant traffic from social media channels.
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Board President.
