Incentives are granted on a project by project basis and are awarded as tax abatement for capital equipment and new building construction in accordance with Indiana Code 6-1.1-12.1. Tax abatements are granted through the governing body which has jurisdiction over the site or industrial park.
The City of Scottsburg also offers a small Revolving Loan Fund to industries that locate within city limits. These loans are granted through the Scottsburg Board of Public Works.
